How can the Creator of this earth, an all knowing Being, be a learner?

My Savior wants me to be pure and pure in heart. I am sensitive to imagery and other things in movies and don't like being led to a Pandora's box. We are counseled to let 'virtue garnish our thoughts unceasingly' and while I believe the Savior taught in parables and would doubtless have shown them as a movie had the technology existed, there was no need. He has also told us that 'no unclean thing' can enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

The entertainment and teaching in the parables came from ordinary people doing extraordinary things in living the gospel He taught.

And no, Chuck, this is not a non sequitur. He taught in parables for those who could hear, and if they couldn't, they got a good story and were not condemned.

I don't see that happening in the movie industry except to pander to appetites and passions, not to lift and inspire to do better.

So, having said that, it is for each of us to determine what is good, lovely, virtuous or praiseworthy or of good report, and then to seek after them.
