in the past when she talks about how much we rely on our own cleverness, our own abilities to obtain riches instead of turning to the Lord to supply our needs.
I can understand wanting some really fancy toy--for me it was getting a digital camera. I can live without one, I've done OK the first 40hm hm years of my life, I really don't need one. But it's SOOOO nice to be able to get that kind of thing. But I didn't get a fancy $300-500 model, so does that show restraint? :D
I don't know, where do we draw the line between enjoying the comforts that our hard labor has earned us and indulging in a worship of material goods?
