I may be stretching the Israelite blood found in Northern Europe concept a bit, but I don't think so.
The hired razor was usually Persian countries (ancestors of Arabic/Islamic peoples) for the Israelites.
Most of us who are Americans have at least one ancestor from one of those countries (Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands); aren't they three that just made homosexual marriage legal?
So, maybe those extreme fundamentalists Muslims are shaving them? Rather like the Lamanites tormenting the Nephites when they got proud and forgot God.
It makes me wonder what bloodlines (someone here will probably know better than I) are involved as the eastern hemisphere version of the Lamanites. The children of Edom (who mowed down the Israelites from time to time), etc.
So, what does America do about it, if we were unified in spirit, which I'm not sure we are? I just wish we were righteous, more of us. I wish we didn't permit abortion. I'm afraid there will be a lot to account for there. This probably isn't a very intelligent political comment; I just keep thinking about that hired razor with regards to the proud and prosperous of the northern countries.
Only when they were righteous could the Nephites rid themselves of the Lamanite scourge, also. I need a sad icon for all of them. My political comments are becoming too emotional, I think.
