When you say, "I believe that day may very well come when everything will be erased, save the Bill of Rights and the Constitution" are you saying that the other amendments will be done away with? Frankly, I can't really think of any of the amendments, 11-27 that are of much worth. Definitely, amendments 14, 16, 17 and 25 should be dumped. Possibly others. I don't think it would hurt my feelings much if we stopped with the Bill of Rights. At this point, I'd be happy to stop with "Congress shall make no law".
