. . . it said that as far as it has been revealed, abortion is not murder and that the offender could repent and retain membership or receive baptism, whichever be the case.

I admit to calling it murder, myself. President Kimball said it was "like unto murder".

I've never understood how our country became so solidified and appalled over the 9/11 incident where 3,000 lives were taken, when we do many, many times worse every year to ourselves. It makes no sense to me.
