is since almost all members of the Brethern are U.S. citizens and since now a majority of church members are not US citizens he was wondering how that is effecting or going to effect how we all deal with each other in an increasingly complicated world.

Our church leaders have their allegiances with the U.S. as it should be IF they are U.S. citizens.
But what about the allegiances of members and church leaders that are not U.S. citizens.
The world does not revolve around the U.S..
