All that dating can be a real strain on the finances, not to mention all of your new legal costs. Hang in there, Jeff.
I've been laying low, myself. After locating a particularly comfortable geological syncline I settled in and rented a bunch of movies. I'm sorry I can't recommend any hilarious movies at the moment. It seems that they stopped making them a few years back. Hollywood found that it's much easier to pay some 3rd rate hack to write a script full of drivel and then just slap that on the screen. It seems the average movie goer will fork over their $7.50 for this shit as frequently as they would for a truly funny film. Just think of all the man hours saved in not having to produce a quality film!
Instead of finishing my website and posting my film reviews I sat around the apartment playing computer games. I guess I'll throw out a few viewing recommendations here in the mean time. I'm rating them 1=steaming excrement to 10=film of the gods. I hope these help, Jeff.
Sexy Beast (4): The much touted new film staring Gandhi, er, I mean Ben Kingsley. I think he's a great actor and I rented this to see his performance. Unfortunately, I hate films and TV shows about doctors, lawyers, and mob guys. If you like films about mob guys, then you'll love this one. A punter who made it in the dark trade has settled into a nice Spanish villa with his bird and wants to retire from the game. Ben plays the psycho "enforcer" for the mob back in England who flys out to Spain to get our man for a new job. Every one's terrified of Ben and no one wants to say no to him. Our boy tries to back out without igniting Ben's short fuse, without success. Ben's performance is fantastic (yes, this is the same man who played Gandhi!), but the subject matter just didn't appeal to me. Most others would rate this film higher.
Instead of writing 30 reviews only to have them lost by accident before I can post, I will break them up into multiple posts.
