Bills are stacking up. With divorce attorney, business attorney(I gotta start paying him something for Inner Compass), Car Pymnt, and old med. bills. It feels like I'm the only one making an attempt to pay something whereas Kim is NOT doing shit. I've been realy naughty at NOT doing taxes for the last three years...yeah I know...but I AM getting them done NOW. I've got 80% of the info to her.(nice body-ears too big)At a fee of 75.00 for each year, I'll be coughing up 225.00 for the three years. Although Kim legally owes me 112.50 of that, I am sure she will give me the finger and direct me to which level of hell I should be residing in.
I'll followup with an email to Kim on certain things and I get more attitude about how she doesn't answer to me, blah, blah, ....not going to look for anything, you'll have to call and just get copies, blah, blah,blah. I will say she is consistent. She reminds weekly what a bitch she truly is.
I started the Anger Mgmnt workshop-Tuesdays for the next 14 weeks. Ugh. It'll be a breeze, as I could probably run the class myself. The group consists of the six of us. Myself and another man are 'warriors', we decided afterwards that just like the movie FightClub, we were going to use our warrior energy and take over the sessions and intimidate and threaten the other men :)
Actually, we're hoping it'll get more indepth as the first couple meetings are dull as WE have already been down this path and are ready to get INTO IT.
Oh, the guy who was going to junk the car, he found someone to fix for half the price, replacing wheel bearings and axle. So I'm going to continue to purchase from him. Then by next year, after credit is scabbed over, I'll buy another...oh, crap.....by then I hope to be running Inner Compass...yeow! (Add to startup cost...President and Founder's business mobile with state of the art sound system and GTS.) Yep, my next car will be a company car. Dear God my coffee tastes rank!!
Did I tell you? I weighed myself 2 weeks ago, lost a total of 30 lbs since Dec.

I think Jeff expected the book to be similar to David Cronenberg's film. Now that you're reading the book, Jeff, you can see that no one can make that into a movie. Cronenberg created something original that would evoke the essence of the book Naked Lunch, steal elements from the novels Exterminator and Queer, capture something of Burroughs's life through the semi-biographical character of Bill Lee and finally to express themes present throughout Cronenberg's own body of work. Burroughs's friends Allan Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac also appear fictionalized in the Cronenberg film.

Burroughs was living in Tangier, Morocco in 1954 while writing his third novel. The working title was Interzone and it would in time become Naked Lunch. Burroughs wrote in a letter to Kerouac "I am having serious difficulties with my novel. I tell you the novel form is completely inadequate to express what I have to say. I don't know if I can find a form. I am very gloomy as to the prospects of publication."

Even though Burroughs makes a dramatic departure from traditional form he finds a way to articulate his ideas about addiction, conspiracy and madness and infuse it with his dark twisted humor. You may not know that Burroughs had intimate knowledge of heroin addiction and also abused a number of other serious substances. It always amazed me that he could live to such an old age.
