Here once again, sitting in my jeff chair, living a life of jeffdom.
I returned from the Minn. Boys to Men weekend. Curt would have gone MAD at this place. We slept in tents, had to endure a bad rain storm full of thunder and lightning. Choke full of mosquito bites and being aware of wood ticks and poison ivy, it was great being in the green outdoors. I was in danger of dehydration due to losing all of my body fluids through my nose as my allergies kick in to high gear.
There were twelve boys, they were afraid and sad and confused and hurt and disappointed by their families, those they trusted and their fathers. It was a hard weekend but much healing began for those boys and the men who will be mentoring them.
I am very tired. I didn't sleep well all three nights, even on Friday as we huddled in tents while the rain poured and the lightning lit up the open camp grounds followed by thunderclaps....it was cool. I wished you guys were there....especially John as the night was great for some midnight adventures of horror as I could envision undead walking the earth in this horrible weather, or some shambling mound of evil rumbling through the thickets, looking for human flesh to consume.
I did get inspired being on the weekend and seeing the program first hand. Now I'm reavin' up the engine and co-creating with Al to make this happen for Wisconsin.

I had my lunch with Elizabeth, the radio woman. We talked and I offered to bone her...I mean....offered her a partnership with Man-Talk. She agreed. We discussed plans. She is gonna call her contacts and program directors at several stations in town. We will begin with an hour show then expand to a two hour segment. I will pursue a time slot for after 5:00PM. Once I get the numbers on time slots and audience statistics, I'll create a simple marketing packet and get in contact with businesses.

(I also contacted my attorney and informed him to work with the other attorney to GET THIS DONE BY OCT.2ND....I have an empire to build damnit!!)

Well I gotta go. Hey Ken, I remember you stating that the short story mag was being distributed by Barnes & Noble...well I haven't found shite my friend. Whats up with that?
