For those of you wondering, Ken is still alive, although I don't know what's wrong yet. He said he'll post soon.

I shot an email off to him recently to check in and I mentioned something everyone should consider. If something were to happen to one of us, something bad, would our family know to contact the rest of us? I'm thinking of a bad accident, serious illness, or even death. If something were to happen I would want to know about it so that I could help or even be there for support.

This gets more difficult when you consider that Jeff and I live alone. We both need to leave some kind of document listing contacts and what to do in the event of an emergency. I have something like this so that my parents will know, but without instructions to contact you guys it would appear that I just dropped out. After weeks you might eventually find that my flight went down, or that I was in an accident. This is something to consider and we each need to act on this for ourselves. Don't take the attitude that nothing bad can happen to you. Don't procrastinate. Write up something now and put it where it will be found, or leave specific instructions with your family.
