C'mon guys, let's play. There's got to be something interesting going on. And if my latest banner didn't make you spray milk out your nose, you must be dead.

I'm dead.

Not much going on. I've been watching a load of movies lately, a few at the theatres but most on video on 2 for 1 rental days. I was about to write something up about them but instead I think I'll get my website up again and post a movie review page. That way no one need be bored by my ramblings unless they want to be.

That's a relief!

Sounds like fun. I don't know if my TV works anymore, it's been so long since I had it on.

I think you should do both. Get your website up and bore us;) By the way, have you recorded any more music since Bok Choy?

I've got 2 pieces partially done. I don't know if you'll care for them since they're both electronic-techno. I still like Bok Choy and I'm thinking about extending that piece. What do you think?

I rarely crack out the old Tangerine Dream but I'm playing the hell out of Paul Haslinger's latest. For those who don't know, Paul was a member of TD in the late '90's. He brought a lot of electric guitar into the mix but mainly followed TD tradition with mondo electronic keyboards. It turns out he's one hell of a composer with a very heavy ethnic slant. That's what is appealing to me so much. I love ethnic musics and that prompted me to do Bok Choy before I did anything else.

I toyed with a traditional Thai track, but I have to admit that their instruments are very limited and the color range of the Thai audio palette leaves me cold. Think Indonesian Gamelan with limited metal and predominant wood percussion. Not much to work with. I looked into it because I thought my Thai friends would get a kick out of it.

After I get the techno out of my system I will probably turn back to World Music again. I have an Ambient idea kicking around, too.

There's just so much to do. When I work on my website I'm so far behind in developing graphics, I end up putting things off. Now that work is dead I have a lot of time on my hands so I'll see just what I can achieve. I will try to resist the temptation to work on some music, then do a few graphics, then write a few reviews, then design some pages and finally run out of time before my trip ending up with nothing posted online.

I like electronic-techno well enough. But I would leave Bok Choy alone. I thought it was just about perfect the way it was.

That sounds good to me, TD+Guitar

How do you do this? Are you plugging in a midi keyboard or doing it all on your computer?

Don't be ridiculous. That could never happen!

I'm still not laughing, and I'm known for my sense of humor.

And what is THAT all about? It doesn't have anything to do with being the brunt of it Curt?

It was nice having this board and being able to sling my hilarious sarcasm without fear of
someone with a sense of humor noticing that none of it is really funny except in a
sad pathetic kind of way. So, stay off this board, Curt. Don't you know that
your decision to stay away forces me to respond with my own style of stale mocking?
We all think it's funny so that's reason enough to keep going with the amusing jibes.
I'm not done responding with righteous indignation, but I'm going to dramatically walk out because
I need to grab another smoke.

Curt, I put up a banner, all in fun, that switched everyone's heads around. You had to make a point of saying it wasn't funny, which is your opinion. And in spite of your constant pompous bullshit about being above it all, you have now proved yourself to have tissue thin skin and a predilection for over-reacting to absolutely nothing. I'm sad and pathetic? I have no sense of humor? Time for a reality check, dickhead!

Paul Haslinger is also doing soundtrack work. There is a new movie coming out with he scored. Its a surfer movie with young girls hanging ten and riding the pipeline. 'Why Paul, Why????'

I believe John's second piece is titled "Chok Boy".
Here are those lyrics John. I believe I have captured the 'heart' of your next hit. I see ROCK VIDEO here my friend.

Chok Boy,
He's ready to take action
Chok Boy,
I don't mean genuflection
Chok Boy,
His big guns ablazin'
Chok Boy,
he leaves the women cravin'
for his love monkey
his crazy love monkey
blind wild mad monkey
monkey full of fun
monkey has love on the run

Chok Boy,
his gadgets are active
Chok Boy,
his monkey is radioactive
Chok Boy,
Secret Agent for freedom
Chok Boy,
Love em and Leave em'

with his love monkey
his crazy love monkey
blind wild mad monkey
monkey full of fun
monkey has love on the run
