My Legacy Will Come (Good-bye)

I look behind me,
leaving with a hesitation though i know i must.
I strive to be free,
and give to my lust.

A sorrowful sigh is given,
but my Legacy will come.
Fore i am most driven,
and you will see him in a coming dawn.

I have risen high,
and hope to leave not too low,
but he will take such a puny blow.

Another Demon will rise from the dust,
to take my place beside one o' thee.
He will come with a gust
and will soon be seen.
I look t'ward th' stars and see my time here has past,
my star has fallen from the great welkin cast,
and i look out t'ward the mountains,
so wild and vast.

I will roam with a Spirit of the Free,
and in the vison of a great and powerful dream.

A step froward and I start my great Quest.
with an enlightened heart and a free Soul.
I run on,
out of sight of this great land with my dream
pushing me on with great zest.

I look back once more and a single word carries forth to she.
It whispers throught the trees,
and is carried 'pon raven wings.

'Tis that of good-bye.
But never lost is the thought of Thy.
