Her hands clasped loosely in front of her as she watches the sun flicker throughout the glen, shining through wherever it can through the birch trees, bark pale white and clutching to the trees like a cout of some sort, the wind still playing with the leaves of the trees, the green leaves staying firmly attached to their branches however hard the wind pushed; it was not yet the season for the leaves to fall off of the trees, before that happened, several more months had to pass yet again. The plenyt continued their play with the girls who had gotten there before Maia had, playing happily and excitedly with the activeness and hyperness of ones so young. In time they would hopefully still have the hope and cheer that they did now, with a sense of responsiblity that grew as one got older.

Maia looked up, and saw now that the two adults and their Bonded were alone, with out anyone near them, and she stared blankly at them for a moment before giving herself a mental kick, as she realized that it was her turn to go up and say what she had ready in her mind, the flowery little speech that she had written last night at her camp on her way here. Her mouth went dry and her hands began to sweat as she wrung them nervously; where had the words to her 'speech' gone? She had them all in her head but moments ago, but now they were gone! I knew I should have practiced it a few more times in my head... I guess now I'll have to improvise.... She licked her lips once, before steeling herself to do this. The plenyt were who she had come here to hopefully see and get to know, and their parents, also. If this was what it took to get to do this, so be it. She took the fateful steps closer, and curtysied to the four there; Jallya, Cariad, Terrun, and Llynmynydd.

"Greetings; I am Maia."

She began, her voice soft, though it was her hope that they would be able to hear her still; there were not many other noises in the glen, and the wytti were supposed to have good hearing, were they not?

"I have come here to the Birch Glen once I heard that you had had a litter of plenyt, in hopes to at least meet them."

Maia added, her voice strengthening as she continued, almost starting to blabber in her nervousness; something that had never happened before.

"The plenyt are-"

Here she stopped yet again, her eyes gleaming as she tried to think of the right words to describe what the young wytti looked like, though in a moment she shook her head hopelessly. There were no words in the only language that she knew to describe their looks; how graceful and beautiful that they were, though it just took one look into her eyes to see how Maia felt. Though she could normally show no emotion on her face, her eyes to often betrayed her, as they were doing now.

"All I have to show my appreciation of such a marvelous event is this..."

She finished, bowing her head slightly, her cheeks flushing bright red once more, reaching into the pouch that she carried with her for things that she found and deemed worthy to keep, drawing out an exquisite flower, red in color to match her currently bright red face, the stem curving down in a graceful curve, which Maia carefully laid upon the ground before them, her eyes now firmly fixed down upon the ground, waiting silently once more.
