Subject: Life and Health License

I am considering a career change in to Insurance Sales.
I have spoken with some companies that advertised locally. I am considering focusing on the senior market, maybe getting in to LTC and/or Annuities. What would be the best way to get a Life and Health with Annuities License. Should I take a course or just buy a book and study for the test. Will this take days, weeks or months. Many of these potential
employers say their agents are making very large amounts of
money. What is a realistic first, second yr. expectation?
I don't have to earn six figures but couldn't get by on less than 35 in the near term. Please advise.
