Up through tonight I have been modifying the first and last two pages of The Visible Policy. The first page has been shortened a lot. It truly is just an introduction now.

Before I really start changing the center part, the model and charts will be updated. The Buy Term & Invest Difference strategy was significantly (and ignorantly) under-estimated, with an annual gain of 6%. Now I will be using a high quality bond fund for comparison, PTRAX. For elapsed years, I will use actual results, and the future results will assume 8% gain. The insurance portion will be a 30-year flat term policy, instead of the three 10-year policies used in the model now. I also have real numbers to use for the term premiums.
