Subject: Puppy vomiting and pale

My 10-mo old hairless puppy is spending the day at the emergency clinic. We (my 2 1/2 yr old puff, the puppy, and I) went for a good walk this morning. She and the puff raced around inside the house when we got home, like they usually do. Then she raced around another 5 minutes by herself, which is rare but it happens. It's not hot today, so I didn't think she overdid exercise. I found her 5 minutes later lying on her side and she'd thrown up a little of her breakfast. I went to get a pail to clean it up, and when I came back she'd thrown up again. She threw up 4 more times in the next 15 minutes (nothing in it was unusual), and was wobbly on her feet, and also was very pale. Her skin and gums are usually pink, and they were whitish-grey. We took her to emergency, where she is on fluids and they say she's a little perkier. They did blood work and x-rays and said one liver enzyme (not alk phos, but don't know which one) is elevated and her liver appears small on the x-ray) Otherwise, they have no idea. I did't see her eat anything or chase a bee, etc. Other than giardia when I got her, she's been perfectly healthy for 6 months. Has anyone had this happen to their Crested, or have any thoughts about issues specific to cresteds? Thanks for any help.
