Are these true pimples or simply razor burn? If razor burn you may need to either buy new blades or have your current blades sharpened...dull blades are very irritating to the skin. Another thing to remember is to ALWAYS shave a clean dog, a dirty coat dulls your blades, and remember to always clean your blades of all hair & put lubricating on them before you put them away. This will also extend the life of your blades.

Now, if this is true razor burn, the best thing you can do is after you shave, rub the dog down with some pure aloe vera gel. You can also apply diaper ointment creme (zinc oxide) to the rash areas and it will dry it up almost overnite, although I don't recommend using it in areas where the dog can lick it off...too much will make the dog vomit.
