I've done this to Chyna and she hates me for it but I've put lotion/aloe on her then one of her tee shirts. They can rub all they want or lick but they can't get whatever off. Mainly I do this if she has an injury like getting into a fight with her half-sis and has war wounds and I have to dr it.

I think shea and cocoa butter are going to be too heavy and cause more problems. Light lotions are the way to go and really if your dog has blackheads he/she probably doesn't need to be lotioned. (I think that one of those washes does dry them out pretty bad so maybe after a treatment but not daily).
