I have a powderpuff( I wrote powerpuff first, tehee.) and I am having a very difficult time with fleas. I live in Central North Carolina and it has been pretty warm and humid lately. What I have tried is Capstar oral, Frontline, and K9 Advantix per my vet's suggestion. The Frountline and K9 both are applied at the shoulders but they seem to not be absorbed. Is there an issue with their "special" skin? The fleas return within a couple of days, also after treating the yard and bedding area. I also have a German shorthair Pointer and I have no problems controlling the fleas with these products.
Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this difficult problem?
Sara
