Hello everyone. I am new here. We recently filled out an application and are interested in a dog. We currently have a 12 yr old JRT and a Puff girl that is 6 months old. We love the personalities of this breed and are hopeful to find a dog to bring home. Would there be any reason that a dog cannot be flown out to our area? the one dog we have an interest in is a few states away. Are the costs of flying still as listed on the site or have they gone up?
The dog we like has been in a foster for a while now. We worry that she'll be traumatized being taken away from the home she knows. is this ever a problem? we also would probably change her name. Is that something that we can do immediately, or something we should wait on, until she feels more at home?
