This type of problem was discussed on deja.com a few months ago. I had a similar problem with my Vivante SE (12" screen). I agree, the problem is exacerbated by tilting the screen. Transmonde couldn't fix the problem, so they allowed me to buy a 13" screen for only $99. When the problem recurred, they replaced my entire laptop. Haven't had any problems since then. Incidentally, Transmonde went out of business about a week after I got my laptop back the 2nd time.
