HMS Duke existed as a "stone frigate" from 1941 - 1946, in Malvern, Worcestershire, England. Thousands of boy seamen trained there, and they eventually formed an association called the "Dukes of Malvern". The old site is now occupied by "Qinetiq" (formerly DERA Malvern), and recently the "Dukes of Malvern" were reunited for the last time. There are only about 100 veteran members left, and so a poignant ceremonial lowering of the ensign and laying of a Wreath marked this final, historic reunion and the end of an era that had a large impact on Malvern's history.

Does anyone, especially "Dukes of Malvern", have any information on HMS Duke?
