Sorry abour previous message....mistake. I went to the orpho in 1942, my sisters came later. I ran away in 1946 with Tilly Owen[Tilly are you out there] Was caned by Miss Tasker, whole school assembled with staff in girls play hut, anyone remember? Remember Thors rock? West Kirby Baths, Frankby church, long Sunday walks, tuck rations, etc. oh yes Ron, the cake on Sunday was Battenburg, pink and yellow squares wrapped in almond paste. I could write on but wont for now. JJB
