Subject: Training ships on Thames

My father was on board the Exmouth which was moored off Grays in about 1915 or thereabouts this was a Training ship run by the London County Council I believe. He was an orphan and whether this was why he was on board I can only assume this was the case. I also think I remember him mentioning the Goliath, moored nearby, trust this will help further.
