Remember you well from 'indie',as i do frank lawlor and many others, although your memory for the names of the staff is much better than mine it bings back alot of memories especially that lovely chap, BOND.

I spent several years in the M.N mostly on 'Star boats' doing the Aussie & Kiwi run, enjoyed every minute of it. unlike you, i am still living in the UK, only 40 miles from the 'Indie'

Remember Peter Cook well, as i do Benny Brown and all the others you mention, Terry Penny was the blond haired lad i think, jock was Ronnie Forbes, remember Chris Evans from Liverpool!!, cannot remember if they were good times or bad, i dont smoke 'Deadlies any more or brake the ice on the swimming pool every morning at 6.o clock.
