hi! this is topic 2 of your mock question paper, would u mind helping me to mark it? thanks

Dear Sir,
I would like to share my observation and views on HK and Mainland Tourism Industry. Recently, I’ve visited HK and Mainland China. Although HK is known as the‘ Shoppers’ Paradise’, I am a bit disappointed towards the shopkeepers’ attitude.
When I walked into the shops in HK, shopkeepers simply take no notice of me. However, it was a different story in China’s shops. Before I stepped into their shops, the shopkeeper who was standing besides the door smile and greet to me. This shows the different quality of services between these two regions.
Apart from the quality of services, what made me lost trust to HK shops is that they keep cheating tourists. Last month I saw a handbag in HK and wanted to buy it to my wife as souvenir. There was a bi price label on the bag which wrote’ 100’. But when I paid for the bag, I saw $10000 on the screen of the cash register. The shopkeeper claimed that the bag did cost $10000, as there was two more zero at the back of the label. What surprised me most was the attitude of shopkeeper: she refused my request of refunding and forced me to buy the bag.
The helpfulness HK shopkeepers bring me another unpleasant experiences. I was fond of a yellow T-shirt and would like to try it on. However, it was not allowed and when I back to my hotel, I found that they gave me a wrong size shirt. This reminded me the good services provided by Main China shops. I could tried on the clothes and the sellers are always willing to give advises on clothes.
I am not trying to blame at HK’s standard of services, but I would like to let them know what they provide is discouraging tourist trust on HK. From my experience, I found that the shopkeepers of Mainland China are improving whereas HK’s are declining. Perhaps efforts should be putted to remain ‘ Shoppers’ Paradise’ in foreigners’ heart.
I hope the above suggestions can help Hong Kong’s authority and tourism industry workers improve and have a prosperous future.

Yours faithfully,
Christ Wong
