Subject: Junkie Rush Fighting to Stay Out of Prison

Rush Limbaugh is fighting to stay out of prison for both doctor shopping and buying 4,000 opiate pills illegally. He says he was an addict, took the cure, and now should be allowed to walk. He says that he is being persecuted in Florida.

Florida?

The goddamn Bush family owns Florida and Gov. Jebby could pardon Rush in a heartbeat. I think the Bushes are allowing Rush to twist in the wind so he remains a good boy on the radio and pushes the Bush agenda to the morons who tune in daily for the "feel good" hand job that Rush gives them.

The US is in deep debt, oil is $59.00 a barrel, and we are out $245 Billion in Iraq, with about $10b of that missing. Rush wants the band to play on, Americans to drive 10mpg SUV's, ignore global warming, the corporatization of life, the erosion of freedom, and even the treatment of prisoners at Gitmo. It's all okay with Rush. He has $200 million+ and is not affected like the middle class.

All Rush has to worry about is controlling his legal case with Florida. He wants to screen the information the prosecutors can have as if it were a caller to his talk show:

Rush was not only addicted to prescription pain medication, he was also addicted to illegal opiates narcotics, namely the 4,000+ pills his maid Wilma purchased for him. From NY Daily:

The moralizing motormouth was turned in by his former housekeeper - who says she was Limbaugh's pill supplier for four years.

Wilma Cline, 42, says Limbaugh was hooked on the potent prescription drugs OxyContin, Lorcet and hydrocodone - and went through detox twice...


She (Cline) also gave the Enquirer a ledger documenting how many pills she claimed to have bought for him - 4,350 in one 47-day period - and E-mails she claimed Limbaugh sent her.

In one missive, Limbaugh pushed Cline to get more "little blues" - code for OxyContin, the powerful narcotic nicknamed hillbilly heroin, she said.

"You know how this stuff works ... the more you get used to, the more it takes," the May 2002 E-mail reads. "But I will try and cut down to help out."

The account Cline gave the Enquirer is that she became Limbaugh's drug connection in 1998, nine months after taking a housekeeping job at his Palm Beach mansion.

It started after her husband, David, hurt himself in a fall, and Limbaugh asked how he was.

"He asked me casually, 'Is he getting any pain medication?' I said, 'Yes - he's had surgery, and the doctor gave him hydro-codone 750,'" Cline said. "To my astonishment, he said, 'Can you spare a couple of them?'[/b]

Rush is a fuck and a hypocrite when it comes right down to it. He has no college degree; never served in the US Armed Forces; has two divorces; never raised children; is a self-admitted drug addict; and yet he lectures liberals daily on their failings.

Rush will look nice in the orange jumpsuit they will give him. The Bushes like to use people like Ken Lay and then dispose of them. I think Rush will prove expendable to the Bushes when his drug case takes a turn for the worse.
