I went to a rally in this small city where 500 turned up. There would have been more except many people went on chartered busses to the one in Toronto, an hour away. What amazed me is that there was very little "to-do" that this was happening. I do not even know how I heard this was happening, but made sure that on the 14th I checked the local rag to see what and where things were going on here. I knew I had to go, and despite frigid temperatures went to be counted. That is what the power of peace will do...things just seem to happen. (I realize that a lot of organizing went into this, but it appeared effortless).

I was proud to see so many turn out across the world and proud to be part of it. I was so heartened to see so many in the US...New York and San Fransico - even relatives of 9/11 victims.

I am one of those who has NEVER demonstrated before. They say that the English just do NOT demonstrate but the turn-out in London was unprecedented.

BTW Cody, how did this remarkable event get going anyways? Who was behind it? Will there be another? I cannot wait to see the March 1 one !!! It is trite to say it...but....Power to the People!!!
