Subject: A point of order!

NKLS: Only Mark 16:15-20 was added. The earliest mss do contain vss 1-14. Also, the warning in Revelation, when read in context, only applies to adding to the Book of the Revelation itself. These points are important to remember when arguing w/fundies. For example, if I were a fundie and you whipped Mark 16:15-20 on me and then Rev. 22:18, I could say, "So you must agree that the Bible is the Word of God if you're invoking Rev. 22:18. And you're right: Mark 16:15-20 was an addition and that is why all modern translations of the Bible do not include it. Now that we agree the Bible is the Word of God, why aren't you saved? I mean, you can't have it both ways. You can't invoke scripture to condemn Mark while at the same saying you don't believe the Bible to be the Word of God. So either you believe or you don't, and if you don't then piss of about Rev. 22:18 because you were quoting it out of context anyway! Some unbeliever you are!"

Leo: Forget the church, I can't believe you didn't remove his hat in the presence of an esteemed lady! Moreover you should have rebuked that bitch church warden by quoting
I Cor. 14:34 to her in which the Apostle Paul says:

Let your women keep silence in the churches; for it is not permitted unto them to speak, but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

In the NT church, women were to keep their heads covered in church and were ordered on Apostolic authority to remain silent. You could have said, "How dare you! How dare you break God's holy Word by speaking in a church!" I would have then whipped out my penis and bitch slapped here with it. Now that would have impressed both your fiancee and her parents!

"Oh that Leo is such a card!" they would all say as the story of your comic act was repeated during your court trial. The jury would find you not guilty based on the words of the Apostle Paul. I'm so sure of all this that you should go back and do it just to see what happens. And for even more laughs, knit a little black suit and white clerical collar and slip it onto your penis. When you whip out said penis, say something to the church warden such as,
"My good lady! Father Glans here would like to have a word with you! Can he step into your rectory?"
