Betsy, I suggest that there are huge distinctions you need to make about "honesty" and what you call "honesty." For the record:

1. There is an extraordinary difference between being covertly contemptuous and being honest. I think you display the former under the guise of being the latter.

2. I think what you call honesty is merely "speaking your mind," and your opinions are not identical with the truth in most cases. Rather, they are your perceptions and you should make this clear instead of making pronouncements as if your words consitute truth.

3. Why do you believe you are contributing to others by injecting yourself into situations to "tell people the truth"? Do you, a self-admitted mentally ill person, actually believe you have the critical discrimination to speak the truth based upon the flawed mechanism of your own perception? And a mechanism, I might add, that has resulted in mental illness.

4. You speak of needing "outside contact." Am I to assume you are institutionalized? If so, please make this clear so we can understand with whom we are dealing.

5. Did any delusions of grandeur play a role in your illness? Did you shoot for the stars only to crash and burn? A recitation of this experience, of your painful mistakes and lessons, would be far more instructive for us that being told the "truth" by such a one as you.

6. So, you don't like my honesty. That seems about par for people sicker than me. Again, we see here a patented Betsy "fuck you." Can't you see the grandiosity in this statement, Betsy? You assume in that we attack you because we can't stand your honesty, when in fact we simply found your posts to be offensive, even self-righteous.

You have much to learn about honesty, Betsy. I assert that in our criticisms of you we have been honest, whereas in your invalidations of us you have not.

Still wanna play the truth game?

I thought you were displaying the former rather than the latter. I would prefer to have someone tell me I am a fucking idiot to my face than use covert forms of invalidation -- unless of course you are unconscious to what you were doing.

I don't mind you hanging around as long as you stop the Queen of Pain nonsense. I mean, do you reall think you're the only one in the world who is fucked up or has had serious mental problems? The entire world is an asylum!

Just quit patronizing people and you'll do fine around here. Maybe you just needed an initiatory DB stoning, for, as the poet Dylan hath said, "Everybody must get stoned."
