Except that Harm didn't get O-6 retirement pay since he didn't hold the rank for three years. It really doesn't bother me where they go....but I would of liked to have Mac give it all up for Harm since he did in the Paraguay mess, and especially when he told her he didn't think he would ever feel about anyone else like he felt about her. (NT) -- Samgiz, 11:40:51 04/30/05 Sat

But this way there is no resentment on either's part for being one to give it up. If one had to choose then later on they might start to feel resentful of the other. This way shows both willing to give it up and accept what fate has to say. Paraguay was different it was a life and death situation. In that kind of situation I can see Mac giving up her career for Harm. I don't think Harm is keeping score and he knows how important her career is to her just like she knows how important his is to him.
