Agreed. I don't think I would have wanted them to work out their issues. I don't trust TPTB to do that justice. Leave that to fanfic. After all, they have maintained a strong friendship bond for 9 years, I think their relationship is strong enough to overcome any obstacle, considering how much they truly love each other. I think they used the flashbacks to remind us how far they've been together. Can you believe the NINE seasons since Mac got hurt by the poachers? I'd have rather them use the flashbacks than trust DPB with worthy dialogue. (NT) -- Angela S, 18:18:37 04/30/05 Sat

Well I too thought I was disappointed with the lack of discussion about issues. After rewatching, I agree -- the flashbacks say it all!
