Theresa, I'm still happy too with the way it came out. I agre with everything you said. There is no reason though why we can't still dissect the ep and talk about the how it was done. I loved the edited version and am walking around with a smile on my face. LOL Next to the kissing, the fact they kept in character and we saw the old warmth between the two of them returning for the first time IMO in more then two seasons. I agree Judi, I have my own edited version in the works, with even more flashbacks etc. No reason we can't dissect and discuss any aspect of that episode. All I'm saying is that, for once, the disappointment I felt in the beginning about the parts that should have been spent on Harm and Mac has been so drowned out by the enormity of the step they so lovingly took together, that it doesn't even register on my radar anymore. What I love most about that scene when they are talking to Bud and Harriet is at one point Mac reaches out and caresses Harm’s leg. It was just such a natural thing and was such a simple gesture but for me showed how comfortable with each other they were. *SIGH* (NT) -- Hope, 15:27:06 05/01/05 Sun
Theresa that is a great way to look at it. They did get everything they wanted in the space of a day. And we got something amazing we weren’t sure we would get. Them together in love and happy. I also love how they were the Harm and Mac we know and remember. Their looks and teasing banter in the kissing scene were wonderful. You said everything so well. I just finished watching it again...for about the 8th time and still marvel in their emotions. They were so respectful of eachother and you could just feel the love they had for eachother. I am sad the shkow is over, but I am so happy abou the way it ended as should everyone. Amen Theresa and like most fans I wanted years of romance for them and not just the end. I wanted the wedding,the HMS and my Harmy chest but Im grateful for what we got because my friend shared me the original scripts of DT ep.and the series finale before the changes and it was angsty and really depressing.If few of the grumblers only knew what we were getting originally they would really go ballistic. It doesn't matter what we were going to get, it matters what we did get. I saw the script sides for this as well, and I didn't care for them either, but it makes no difference.
