I apoligize if some of this has been discussed already (everything archives out so fast) and I was waiting for the board to calm down a little before posting this. OK, I lied - I've been rewinding & watching the end of FWAFS for two days, LOL. It's gotten so bad that I leave the tape in the VCR and play the last scenes during commercial breaks on network shows. How pathetic is that?

DPB listed the full orchestra cost as one of the reasons why JAG was so expensive to produce but I've got to say that I can't imagine those last scenes without the wonderful music. As soon as Harm's lips touched Mac's and that sweet music started I was a goner. I can't visualize the kissing scenes without the music or with canned music. Of course I was a puddle of goo as soon as Harm told Mac he wanted her and sat down beside her.

Did anyone else notice that when Harm was in his apt. earlier that there was a different guitar propped up in the foreground? It looked like an electric guitar. Either the prop guy was spaced out again, Harm got a new guitar or DJE took all his home ahead of time & they had to scramble to find one for the scene.

As much as I love Harm in mess dress I would have liked to have seen him in dress whites for the final scene. We first saw him in dress whites in the pilot and that would have made the show come full circle for me. When I watch the whole ep. over I skip over the Lt. Weasel scenes - I just cannot stand to watch them. When I watched them Friday while taping I was struck by the fact I think he was trying to blackmail Mac into taking him to SD with her by bringing up the "will you miss Capt. Rabb?" and the whole Farrow thing. I know they were trying to rehab his character for a possible S11 but I have to wonder how they would have made Mac take him to SD given her animosity toward him after that exchange. And I didn't believe any of the story he told the kid's mom about his dad dying too. I think he made the whole story up, after all he is a lying weasel. LOL.

Anyhow, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am now happily residing on HAMDII. H/M are living in London, Mattie has fully recovered from her injuries and has been adopted (the Rabbs have a 16 yr. old "baby") and at night the DD are busy trying to create little Rabb-its so Mattie won't be an only child.
