I'll only answer #4. When Mac says "What are you proposing?" She then says, "And that's not a freudian slip". In truth she was proposing, asking him if he accepts her proposal, telling him that she wants a life with him , giving him an opening to make her his forever, just like he wanted. This, to me, is better than an I love you from Mac. She stepped up to the plate in the best way she possibly could. (NT) -- Theresa, 19:57:16 05/02/05 Mon

I'll ponder the lines you've chosen, but I was interested in your last comment. I, too, was thinking today that in the scene towards the end, in the bar, when Mac put her hand on Harm's arm and then snuggled into his shoulder, and he hugged her, that it was a wonderfully sweet moment for the characters, but it also seemed to me it was professional colleagues (Catherine and David), who've worked together nine years, saying thanks to each other and letting each other know they'll miss working together. Precisely! (NT) -- DJEgirl, 20:27:19 05/02/05 Mon

I agree. I read someone's account of the wrap party & the video that was shown there. They said that DJE thanked everyone and CB kissed his cheek and this observer said she could tell that they really had a special friendship. & we know from the "Insider" segment that the McMurphy's scene was the last one filmed, so I think that some of the sweet affection we saw in that scene was, in part, genuine. (NT) -- JAG Junkie--after working that closely with someone for 9 years, I think I'd be the same way., 20:42:06 05/02/05 Mon

I read on the final day of filming CB and DJE hugged and she kissed him on the cheek. The fan who visited the filming of the series ending also said CB and DJE were always fooling around during takes and had some lickfest going on. I also took the bar scenes as a family connection with PL,KT and especially how sweet the cuddle was with MAE and HAE. (NT) -- NevadaGH, 22:27:04 05/02/05 Mon
