LOL, you've been yelled at by people who fall under the stereotype punk (stereotypes are stupid.) and now you are going to get yelled at by a stereotypical prep. I think the anti-stereotype makes a good post but you can't say you are punk. I am a prep because I have always been one and I like what I wear, I don't need to change it because I got older. I'm even a cheerleader, which makes me even preppier. But at least I acknowledge that I am a prep and always will be. If you freaking are a prep by nature then be one for heavens sake. You should try these simple steps: BE YOURSELF! if you have a self left that is. And I am going to agree with the rest of them on the music, they aren't punk music, and even if they were it wouldn't make you punk. I've listened to most of the bands you listed, and my friends think thats weird but whenever they say its hardcore or punk rock I tell them to shut up its pop. I've listened to the bands that others have listed as well, they are awesome and really have a clue what they are talking about not faking anything. I have punk friends, their awesome and I couldn't respect them more, I even love the way they dress but I'd never dress like that. Why? Cause I'd rather be me, if even that means being called an airhead prep cause who really gives a care?!
