Placid was now furious, for the femme had showed up to ask for acceptance of herself and fellow pack members, and now wished to battle.

You requested an alliance and I turned you down-you have no reason to remain here. I don't care your status at another land-here you're nothing but a loner, and a beggar at that.

A snarl slid off her tongue, lips curling to reveal sharp teeth made for tearing flesh. Her very manner dripped of power, posture proud and confident-while her visage reflected a persona of cunning and skill... in a fight, t'was obvious she would not be an easy opponent.

What do you want now? I gave you my answer, accept it and hold on to your pride-do not make a fool of yourself.

Her tone did not raise-she did not yell-but it also did not grow any more friendly. She'd made up her mind concerning this femmora, and would not be convinced otherwise. Persuasion would be useless, for now it was leave or battle... her pack was at stake. The relaxed manner of the loner did not allow her to let her guard down-it only made her even more steadfast in her decision... if the femme did not leave soon, Placid would make sure she did not leave at all.
