They rode their horses into the stableyard. Cassidy jumped off and led the stallion to the ailse for a quick grooming. Then she put him in his stall with dinner. Then she changed into jeans and a t-shirt. "It's not so hot anymore," she said as she handed Jon a soda. They walked to the outdoor turf arena where Stephanie (Lauren's kid) and Melanie were having a jumping lesson. Melanie cantered Princess to the last jump and the Arabian bounded over it. "Wow, how tall are those fences?" "3-6"," Cassidy guessed. "And Princess is only 14.3hh." "Not bad then." They watched as Stephanie circled Spice and began the course.
"Do you want to come over to my house tomorrow afternoon? We can go swimming," Cassidy invited as they walked towards Pride's stall. "Sure," Jon instantly agreed. "Hey baby," Cassidy cooed, rubbing the Arabian stallion on his neck. Pride nickered and snorted wearily. "Mom's probably been jumping him," Jon laughed.
