no len, high school is different here (mostly), so they are 11/12 in 1st year, 12/13 in 2nd year and 13/14 in 3rd year. the fact that all the actresses are all 3 or 4 years above that is not great for the long term life of the show but is good for the quality of the acting, so there you are. no confusion at all.
