Also I should have mentioned another scene, but it was cut out to make room for commercials, so it wasn't in the official version of this ep...
that was when a boy from the village, Carryon Carcass, the seventh son of the local undertaker, who has some deep interest in witchcraft sneaked to the school pond to nick some tadpoles...
(he had a habit of doing this quite frequently - believed that those tadpoles would be magic too - so he tried to do some experiments on them - chopping them up, peeling them or trying to make them ride a mini broom...)
well, in *Three Seems in the wind*, he got caught by the two wicked Seems and was shut up into the greenhouse (after the ruining of the marrows...)
They tied him up in the volleyball net, but he managed to get rid off it. Still, being a very polite guy, he never dared to break a window to escape, but sat around and sulked for three days, juggling with some tomatoes...
till at least he was released by Miss Hardbroom whom Miss Cackle send out to check whether any marrows were left for some healthy midnight feast in the staffroom...
Being deeply shocked to find a BOY within bounds, HB at once turned him into a musicbox which would play "As I was going to St. Ives..." for hours on ends and, when that started to grate on her nerves, sent him off as present to the local orphanage..
Later, Rosy Dozy, being as much the bad girl as her reputation states she is, nicked some toys from the poor wee orphans and amongst them the music box...
and by accidentally casting a spell on it she released the boy at last...
but this, as I said, is quite a different story and it does not really belong into the ep 41...
