look here - the Cat has found some news about the spinoff to be...
and it's partly good (as it does sound sort of official) and partly bad (as it seems we've got to leave the gloomy musty walls of Cackle's behind...*sobs*)
Galafilm have put up a new site at a slightly diff addy (if you go to the main site, you won't find any entrance - it's all under construction yet...)
so you go to www.galafilm.com/galafilm/e/tv/main.html
and then you get some not exactly eloquent description of ww...
but at the end it says
"As a result of the Worst Witch's international success a related series is in pre-production, chronicling the adventures of Mildred Hubble in University."
