Subject: pointe shoes

I need some help about choosing a pair of pointe shoes. I have been en pointe for almost five years and have tried several brands, but none seem to fit my feet right. So I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I need a really extremely hard shank, a high vamp, and a wide platform. At the moment I have Gaynor Mendon's but with only two classes a week I go through the shoes in about a month and I am not that proficient yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
