Ok, straight to the point. Q93 needs to "diversify" if you will. By that I mean, in my humble opinion, Q93 would GREATLY increase it's popularity (not that it needs any help) if it would play more rock. Specifically, bands like Godsmack (who just released a new album) and Metallica (CLASSIC rock band) and even Limp Bizkit (haven't done much lately, but you KNOW they're popular) and even Disturbed, or The White Stripes or The Strokes, or Audioslave. All of which aren't by genre particular "hard" bands, but still they make great music I know, for instance, that Godsmack plays really hard stuff, but come on, does anybody really think the "Q" is going to lose any listeners by playing such music? I think not. I know I'm not the only one in CenLA who wants to hear some good 'ole Heavy Metal on the radio. I'm not asking for much, I don't think. Something like, one day a week, dedicate an hour or two to the music of some of the bands I've mentioned. Just as an "experiment" if you will, I think it'd be worth a try. Ok, I've spoken my peace.
