So some folk thought that organs were useful for divinations? An intriguing idea... though the first thing that popped into his own mind at the thought of liver was eating it.

Baraka searched through that section of the book more carefully, in hopes of finding out more (such as how such practices were done, and other beliefs of gnomes and goblins). He pauses when Sythion shows him the coin,
sniffing curiously at it. Something about the yellow metal
seems familiar to his nose.

OOC: A small note on the hourani race... all wives are
human, at least as far as is publicly known. So the
reference to an old wives tale might mean the book was by a
human author, translated into hourani, or it might be
referring to human beliefs. (at least that is what this
player guesses)
