That is so true! Back in my academic days, the big brouhaha was Andrea Dworkin's book "Intercourse" in which she equates any act of heterosexual sex with rape because of the inherent inequality of women under the patriarchy. Talk about turning straight (i.e. most) women off of feminism.

In a sense, I agree with you, but I hate to see that thinking used to keep women or men from playing whatever roles in life that they want.
