ITA, you aren't single the night before your wedding, despite whatever symbolism occurs at the wedding. Going to a strip club I see as a bit less offensive because its mostly just a funny thing to do to embarass the person getting married. Male strippers are nothing but laughable, and most men don't get overly excited about female strippers. If its a private stripper who comes to your apartment or whatever, I'd have more of a problem with that. And prostitutes? Well, they might be an escape hatch for someone who doesn't really want to get married. But for anything else, completely COMPLETELY inapprorpriate. Mostly I think bachelor parties of this nature are just really immature. Most people I know just have a party at home and get drunk with their friends or something. My dh and I didn't have bachelor/ette parties at all. Didn't feel it was something we needed to do. Instead we went out for dinner with our friends and family and watched OJ drive around in a white bronco on tv.
