Actually, I don't think I really do exactly mean that. I'm not sure the conflict over Israel is the root of ALL terrorism. Its certainly the root of much of it though. Osama Bin Laden didn't mention Palestine until after Sept. 11th. His big deal up till then was American troop presence on the Holy Land (so close to Mecca). And the Tamil Tigers aren't really anything to do with the Palestine/Israel conflict either.
