OK, but awhile back, you said "oh, those technicalities", and rolled your eyes. But here you are distinguishing between deliberate ones and ones where a cop might mistakenly screw up.

To me, a technicality is a technicality. Because guilty is guilty.

It sounds like your issue is more with crooked cops than whatever the actual technicality may be.
