We never used to be able to get it at all, but now there is a Canadian MTV channel. We still cannot get HBO at all, but Canadian channels pick up some of the shows (like Six Feet Under and Sopranos).

If you're wondering why, you'd have to read up about the CRTC, because I still don't really get it myself. I guess there has to be Canadian content for a channel to broadcast in Canada--the networks get past this by airing Canadian commercials, which counts as Can. content, LOL. So we do get NBC, ABC, Fox, etc.

I guess HBO doesn't have commercials? Is that why we can't do the same with them?
