I don't care what they do behind the scenes. If the airline wants to run a secret background check, that's fine with me. But to pull them off the airplane and hold them, that amounts to an arrest and it's not okay just based on the fact of their race. We have a standard in this country. It's called "probable cause" and race alone isn't enough to get you there.

How is the thread below (which I now have looked at) supposed to change my mind? I have seen plenty of reports about Israeli military personnel targeting innocent civilians. I have also spoken to plenty of my Israeli friends who also characterize it this way.
But you're right, it is not entirely related to profiling, except to say that terrorists are not always Arabs.
